The Move is Officially Underway
We're thrilled to announce that AZ SnowZone is relocating to Glendale, and we couldn't be more pumped about what this means for our community. However, if you've been following along, you've probably noticed that the process has been moving slower than we'd like. There's a good reason for that, and honestly, it's all in service of creating something even better for you.
Why Glendale is Different (And That's a Good Thing)
When we were operating in Phoenix, we had a bit more flexibility with our operations. We were able to experiment, try new things, and pivot quickly without running into major regulatory hurdles. Glendale, on the other hand, takes their building codes and safety regulations seriously, and we respect that. The city has strict requirements that we need to meet, and while it's added some extra steps to our process, it's pushing us to build AZ SnowZone 2.0 the right way.
The Waiting Game
Right now, we're in the approval phase. Our plans are with the City of Glendale, and we're waiting for them to give us the green light. Once that happens, we can finally break ground and start the actual construction. We're talking any day now, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that the approvals come through soon.
